While Hennessey grabs headlines with the $450,000 Mammoth 1000 6×6, featuring a Hellephant-swapped TRX, there’s another option in the realm of 6×6 Dodge pickups. Enter Force Motorsport, presenting their own TRX 6×6, tailored for Florida’s marshlands and urban streets. Although lacking a specific moniker, its choice of Vossen wheels sets it apart from the crowd.
Andrei and I have been avidly tracking Vossen wheels for over a decade. Their latest creation, the HF6-4 alloy design, has gained traction in the sports truck scene. Sporting a contemporary multi-spoke aesthetic, it lends the TRX a sleek sports car demeanor, diverging from the rugged off-roader aesthetic typically associated with beadlock wheels. This transformation aligns seamlessly with the 6×6 conversion’s widespread appeal in urban settings.
Opting for a satin black finish, the six Vossen wheels harmonize with the black plastic cladding. These 22×12-inch alloys are paired with 37-inch tires, boasting a stature similar to that of a standard TRX but with increased width and larger wheels, typically measuring 18 inches in diameter.
Tower of power, tires to devour
The 6×6 conversion delivers exactly what you’d anticipate from an elongated truck. With its extended chassis and bed, the rear end seamlessly accommodates the additional axle. Notably, the suspension setup appears to diverge from Hennessey’s approach, particularly in terms of shock configuration.
Force Motorsport, hailed as Florida’s authority in this domain, boasts a portfolio of 6×6 Jeep Gladiators, a familiar sight to many. Their expertise extends to the modification of a 2022 Toyota Tundra, although finalizing the bed remains a work in progress.
While Hennessey offers a formidable 1000 horsepower conversion for the TRX, such an enhancement may seem unnecessary in this instance. After all, the Hellcat engine already stands as the most potent powerplant ever fitted to a pickup truck. For those craving more power, an array of modifications exists to amplify the TRX’s 702 horsepower output.
While the Hennessey Mammoth 6×6 commands a minimum price tag of $450,000, the exact cost of this conversion remains undisclosed, likely hovering around $300,000. While Jeeps may prove more economical to convert to this configuration, the TRX’s enduring popularity ensures that a pristine example fetches a price well above the stated MSRP. I guess this RAM TRX 6×6 is an awesome monster truck.
